LOTØShield eliminates traditional locks, clipboards, countless keys, and bulky lockboxes with Intelligent Locks, an intuitive User App, Digital Keys, Personal Digital Locks, and Virtual Lockboxes, all connected through a secure cloud platform.
The Secure Platform for Connected Safety
At the center is the ATI core platform. Around it, six connected capabilities work together: cloud-hosted databases and services, industrial IoT locks with built-in communication, the mobile application, gateways for communications across facilities, the Administration Portal, and real-time monitoring and communication.
Every event, a lock hung, a shackle closed, a verification completed, flows through the platform in real time, so the app, the portal, and the audit record always agree.

Build the job in the portal
A planner creates the lockout in the web portal: the system to be isolated and every isolation point.
Assign the workers
Team Leaders assign the service team. Each worker sees the job, their role, and the associated isolation points, in the app, before they ever walk out to the unit.
Place the Intelligent Locks
Workers hang AT5 Intelligent Locks on each isolation point. Each lock immediately activates its sensors and begins sending its heartbeat.
The app captures every step
Each action, hang, lock, verify, is performed and recorded in the app in sequence. Steps can’t be skipped, nothing depends on a signature after the fact, and every isolation point’s status is visible to everyone in real time.
Group lockout via the virtual lockbox
Workers attach their virtual personal locks to a virtual lockbox — no physical boxes, no physical keys. Everyone’s protection is visible to everyone, in real time.
Verify isolation, work, return to service
Once every isolation point is verified, work proceeds under continuous monitoring. When the job is complete, a return-to-service checklist is completed in the mobile app and locks are removed.

Intelligent Locks
An ordinary lock doesn’t let you know whether it continues to secure an isolation point, or what has been done to it since it was placed. LOTØShield uses Intelligent Locks. They send a heartbeat message regularly while they are on an isolation point, so you know they’re still there and isolated equipment is still safe and secure.
Our Intelligent Locks are equipped with sensors that detect key events and transmit them to the cloud in real time. You’ll receive instant updates when a lock is opened or unlocked, or even when the shackle is cut — just a few of the many conditions they monitor. Need to check their status? Just open the app to see any changes since your last walk down.
Mobile User App
Paper can be misplaced, and signatures may falsely confirm events that never occurred, or miss ones that did. Worse, paper can’t alert users when conditions change and new hazards arise after the last signature.
LOTØShield replaces outdated paperwork with a mobile app your team uses directly on their devices. Every lockout/tagout action is performed digitally, with real-time updates as systems are locked out, isolation points are locked or unlocked, and shackles open or close. The app delivers continuous, end-to-end data to your users, who can even manage their personal digital locks right from their phones. No more bulky lockboxes or tangled keys.
Web Portal
LOTØShield gives management, supervisors, planners, and safety personnel a web portal they can access anytime, anywhere. The portal gives you access to real-time data concerning every aspect of your lockout/tagout operation, information that was previously inaccessible. Know when each isolation point is locked or unlocked instantly, when each system becomes locked out, when each lock is verified, and when each service team is created.
For leaders with enterprise-wide responsibilities, the portal provides instant access to information on a facility-by-facility basis, generates audit reports for any facility and any event, and traces the lockout/tagout activities of any individual worker on an event-by-event basis.
